The Strainer is made to (for the most part) replace the big strainer you have to pull out of the cabinet every time you make pasta. Instead, this utensil is placed with the curved edge right inside the edge of the pot. Tilt, and all the water comes out but the spaghetti stays in the pot. The holes are small enough to ensure orzo stays in the pot, but large enough so all the water strains. The Strainer is approximately 12" long and 3" at the widest part. The one shown here is made of Walnut, but other woods may be used.
 
You may never use a real strainer again!
